Norway´s masters of blackened sonic evil, 1349, are finally back with a deadly vengeance. Four long years after the release of the masterpiece "Demonoir", the band returns with a new full-length album this fall. "Massive Cauldron of Chaos" is set to be released on September 29 through Indie Recordings worldwide, except for North America, where Season of Mist will be handling the album. Founded in Norway in 1997, 1349 have remained a constant influence on the Norwegian black metal scene. With a penchant for lightning speed riffing, blazing drums, and apocalyptic lyrics, the band has trail-blazed the underground, surpassing many of their peers through brute musical force. Following a quintet of landmark albums, 1349 is set to re-establish their dominance in worldwide extreme metal scene. "Massive Cauldron of Chaos" leave no doubt as to their intentions. Not looking back, but constantly evolving and challenging our perceptions as to what to expect from an extreme metal band. The music Abuse Of Power writes carries weight in every riff, snare hit and bass note. Every word sung comes with an urgency and intention that commands the listener's attention. Abusive Action have built quite a reputation during their two years of existence. Simply starting out as the band they themselves wanted there to be, these four guys quickly became a well-known name. Soon after they played their first show in May 2004 their demo sold over 700 copies and plenty of shows made them a solid live band in no time. Bothered by line-up problems some six months later, they took a step back to write their first 12" E.P. A year after their demo, these 10 songs got released on Crucial Response records. Without losing their no-nonsense in your face approach for one second, the band delivered a more diverse sound that went from raging outbursts to catchy grooves. Receiving positive reviews everywhere and ready to play out in the field again, numerous shows followed, including a European summer tour. The end of 2005 marked the beginning of the 'Fueled' sessions. Four new songs are now ready to see the light through Not Just Words records.
